About Me

Petethegod (b. 1994, Brooklyn, NY) is an artist, innovator, and fashion Designer based in New York City, He received his B.F.S in fashion and Textile design from Buffalo State University. His work introduces intentionality, integrity, and innovation with how he expresses his self; as well as his creative endeavors. Petethegod’s work is creating opportunities for development within his art form and distinguishes himself from other similar artist or programs in existence. His work that is being produced is relevant to the current creative conversation taking place in the region or industry at large.

In 2022, he made history as being the first Black fashion designer to exhibit textile art at the Hunt Art Gallery. This opportunity gave Petethegod a defining moment to become versatile within his artistic practice.
